ABOUT STONE STREET:
Stone Street was one of NYC's first paved streets. Laid
out by the Dutch settlers in the 1600s, it was rebuilt
right after the Great Fire of 1835. A major reconstruction
effort completed 3 years ago has restored the street's
19th-century look and feel.
